I draw mainly human/ human-like characters and chibi-style. You can tell what my style and preferred subjects are from my gallery.
CONDITIONS:
I retain the copyright to ALL of my artwork, including commissions. This means I own the artwork and have exclusive right to copy and distribute my work as I please. (Read this for further details on copyright.)
Original characters and names of original characters belong to their respective creators. I will not re-sell your commissions that contain your own characters.
By commissioning me, you give me full permission to use the commissioned work for my portfolio and upload to any website and blog. The commissioned works that I upload on websites and blogs will have watermarks, whereas the copy sent to you via email will have no watermark. I will give you credit and link back to your dA account (or another account that you prefer).
You may use the artwork I create for you for NON-COMMERCIAL, NON-PROFIT purposes ONLY (i.e. desktop background, decorations, etc.). In other words, you may NOT copy, distribute, and sell my artwork for money (i.e. selling prints of my artwork, merchandise of my artwork, etc.).
You may NOT upload my artwork anywhere on the internet (e.g. deviantART, tumblr, photobucket, etc.) without my permission. Reblogging or sharing that links back to my work is okay.
I reserve the right to decline any commission requests with or without reason. (But most of the time, I will give a reason. 
)

It is also out of respect for the original artists. If you're not sure if your idea is acceptable, please feel free to send me your ideas and I'll be happy to let you know.

Note: I am open for fan art suggestions, especially chibi ones HERE, but they are not at the top of my priority list.

COMMISSION PRICE ESTIMATIONS
(per character)
Sketch and shaded commissions will be done traditionally (pencil). Color commissions will include a clean line art and color and will be done digitally. Commissions will typically fall in at the lower price range (so don't let the upper price range scare you!), but the final price will depend on its complexity and the time required to complete the work. The more complex the work, the higher the price. Don't worry, I will do my best to be reasonable with the price and you can be the judge. I will send you a price quote of your commission before you pay and you can decide to accept or reject or we can compromise on the price.
Human Size - Original Character and Fan Art Commissions:

Headshots: 10 - 15 USD
Half-body: 15 - 25 USD
Full body : 25 - 40 USD

For every additional character in the piece, the final price of the commission will be the number of characters times 2/3 the price given above.
Backgrounds:
Default background is white. Simple colored background (solid color or gradients) upon request.
HOW DO I PAY?
I accept payments by dA points (for a limited time only) and Paypal. My email for Paypal is snowgem1@gmail.com.
HOW DO I COMMISSION YOU?
I will work on commissions on a first come and pay basis. In other words, the sooner you contact me and pay the full, agreed price, the sooner I will work on your commission.
Please follow the steps for a successful commission transaction:
Step 1
If you would like to commission me, please send me a note (not a comment) with the title COMMISSION with following information:
- Email: (Provide the email you would like your commission to be sent once it is completed. I will also be communicating with you through this email after I receive your note.)
- Category: (Human size or Chibi)
- Subcategory: (Head shot / Half body / Full body) (Line art / Shaded / Color)
- Medium: (For Line art and Shaded commissions, please indicate pencil or pen. The default medium for color commissions is digital.)
- Character description: (Name of character(s). Please provide description of character(s) that is important to mention for the commission. i.e. personality, height, hair color, etc. If you provide a character reference [below] and it includes the character description, you may omit the description here.)
- Character pose, action, and/or expression: (Describe what you would like your character to be doing and/or the expression of your character's face. The more descriptive you are, the better. Pose and action of character is limited to half and full body commissions only. Expressions can be given for all commission types. If no description is given here, I will choose the pose, action, or expression I see fit.)
- References: (Links to character reference/design required. References for specific objects included in artwork, like weapons/accessories, are also required. Reference to a background is optional, unless you have a specific setting in mind. I will let you know if I need additional reference for the background.)
- Background: (White, transparent, solid color, color gradient, etc.)
- Payment type: (dA points or Paypal. If you are paying through Paypal, please provide your Paypal email here.)
- Questions: (Send me any questions you may have and I'll answer them to the best of my ability!)
- Additional notes: (Any additional information you would like to give me that is not already covered above.)
Step 2
I will check my notes every day. I will answer notes in order of time received through EMAIL, so please check your email after you sent your note. (I will reply to your note to remind you to check your email.) I will send you an email with possible questions or clarification for your commission. After questions have been answered (or I had no questions because your description was amazing!), I will send you a price.
Step 3
You can accept or decline or we can compromise on the price. I will allow you up to 2 days (48 hours) since the time I email the price for you to reply. If I have not received your reply after 2 days (48 hours), I will contact the next person on the waitlist.
Step 4
Once we BOTH agree on the price of the commission, please send me the full payment through your preferred payment method. I will allow you 1-2 days to process your payment (or be in transaction) from the time you accepted the price. Your deposit secures your spot under "Current Commissioners," and I will begin working on the sketch for your commission right away. There will be no refunds.
If you are on the waitlist, please hold onto your payment until I am ready to work on your commission.
Step 5
My goal is to create artwork for you with which you are happy and satisfied. No matter the type of commission you asked for (Line art sketch, shaded, color), I will send you a rough sketch of your commission. At this point, you may request changes to the image. I am happy to work with you to make sure it is how you like it before I complete the commission.
Step 6
I will send you a digital file of your commission through email with no watermark. All I ask is that you use my artwork for non-commercial use ONLY. So please do NOT sell my artwork. It is disrespectful to me and against the law.
I am currently only sending digital files of commissions via email. If you are interested in having the physical copy of a traditionally made commission, please let me know and we can discuss possible arrangements. The physical copy will be priced higher than the digital copy.
If you would like a MINOR change (like color, overall feel/atmosphere) to be made after the completion of the artwork, I will allow ONE "Request of change" for free, which must be requested within 2 days after the completion of the commission. I will decide whether or not the change is considered minor. If I deem the change to be more than minor, we can discuss additional payment for the change. I want you to be satisfied with your commission, so I am offering this option to you.
How long will the commission take?
After you have made your payment, depending on the complexity of your commission and quickness in your replies, your commission can take from about a couple of days to about a month to complete. If on rare occasions I have a long-term personal matter to attend to, I will notify you as well as all other commissioners lined up of a delay.
